Anastassya Savitsky (she/her) is a choreographer and performer born in Belarus and based in Antwerp. Her experience of migration and her perspective as a woman and young mother inform an artistic practice concerned with displacement, care and the relationship between the body and its surroundings.
Having worked as a performer with artists and companies including Jan Martens and Theater FroeFroe, Savitsky has been developing her own work since 2020. In productions for young audiences such as Stellar Boem and Wanderink, new worlds emerge in which dance, materials, objects and images shape one another. The work takes children seriously as spectators, making room for abstraction, complexity and imagination.
In 2025, Anastassya co-founded De Formatie with Danaé Bosman, Karolien Verlinden, Liesbeth De Clercq and Zita Epenge. A dance house for young audiences, De Formatie supports artists’ practices and creates contemporary dance performances, with particular attention to early childhood and to work beyond conventional theatre spaces.
Current research within the Master’s programme in Dance at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp explores the relationship between choreography and visual art. Hold the House, her first solo creation for adult audiences, is currently in development.

Anastassya Savitsky is choreograaf en performer, geboren in Belarus en gevestigd in Antwerpen. Haar migratiegeschiedenis en haar positie als vrouw en jonge moeder voeden haar artistieke blik en haar vragen rond ontheemding, zorg en de verhouding tussen lichaam en omgeving.
Na een parcours als performer bij onder meer Jan Martens en Theater FroeFroe ontwikkelt Savitsky sinds 2020 eigen werk. In jeugdvoorstellingen als Stellar Boem en Wanderink ontstaan steeds nieuwe werelden waarin dans, materialen, objecten en beelden elkaar beïnvloeden. Het werk neemt kinderen serieus als kijkers en biedt ruimte voor abstractie, complexiteit en verbeelding.
In 2025 richtte Anastassya samen met Danaé Bosman, Karolien Verlinden, Liesbeth De Clercq en Zita Epenge De Formatie op, een danshuis voor jong publiek. De Formatie verbindt de ontwikkeling van artistieke makerstrajecten met de creatie van hedendaagse dansvoorstellingen, met bijzondere aandacht voor de allerjongsten en voor dans buiten de klassieke theaterzaal.
Haar huidige onderzoek binnen de master Dans aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen verdiept de wisselwerking tussen choreografie en beeldende kunst. Daarnaast is Hold the House, haar eerste solo voor het avondcircuit, in ontwikkeling.
